- 3 carrots med.-large whole carrots
- 3 frozen spinach grab 3-4 frozen
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter Natural Peanut Butter
- 1 tablespoon Greens Powder
- handful ice
- 12 ounces Water
- 1 tablespoon flax seeds
Put all ingredients into a blender (Vitamix or Blendtec works best) and blend for about 50 seconds. (My machine has an auto setting for “Whole Foods” and goes through cycles to create the perfect texture – but it would work without that.
1 tbsp peanut butter is a sanctioned treat on 4HB, and it makes this smoothie so good. You could probably throw in a whey protein powder and make it a quick breakfast substitute, as well.
