Welcome to the 4 Hour Recipes blog! Build a better body in 30 days.

As soon as we finished reading Tim Ferris’ book ‘The 4-Hour Body’ we wanted to try out Tim’s variation on the Slow Carb Diet.  The first thing we did was look for recipes that would work with the plan, and since it was a pain to find them, we decided to create a site to help people achieve their goals while actually enjoying it.

Let’s face it – eggs, mixed vegetables, and beans for breakfast everyday doesn’t sound that appetizing.  But, there is hope!  Check out the breakfast page for some examples of great morning meals that get you the protein and vegetables you need to build your four hour body.  We’ve tried out these recipes and they are actually good.

If you appreciate or enjoy this site, or have success stories with these recipes we would love to hear from you in the blog comments, or by e-mail here: 4hourrecipes@gmail.com

Happy eating!

“I just started implementing the 4 Hour Body meal plan into my diet and I love it! However, the book can sometimes be vague when referring to what foods are allowed. I was wondering if anyone knew if Mayonnaise is allowed, as it has zero carbs and made mostly from egg yolks. Also, is there any tips I can use to make a related judgment call in the future? Thanks!” -DeAnna
